My role at iplanIT: 

As the Director of Development I oversee all development projects going on within the company. By consulting with clients, I plan the best solution for their specific needs. Once the best course of action is planned, I work to develop their solution. I am also charged with staying on the forefront of the newest technologies, and implementing the best fit technologies into our company structure.

Why social media is important: 

Social media is so important because it allows content to be shared quickly with people you want to share it with. I still have some people email me media content (text, photos, video, etc) via email forwards. This seems so archaic to me because it is a separate communication. Sharing social media using social networks and more modern forms of communication allows people to view content when they want to, what they want to, and control who is giving them content. Unlike email, fresh content can always be obtained from a variety of sources in a variety of filters and views. The Internet is more fun when you share it with others.
